Membership AT THE Y

The heart of the YMCA’s mission is to serve all people in our community. That’s why we offer personalized, Income-Based Membership, which if qualified, gives you the opportunity to pay a monthly membership fee that matches your income.

Income-Based Membership is available for family membership plans with a household income of  less than $80,000 annually and individual membership plans with a household income of less than $50,000 annually. It is a sliding scale based on your household income. If you would like to be considered for membership based on your household income, our Y staff will work with you to determine your personalized membership fees.

Donations to the YMCA's annual Good Kids Campaign from Y members, individuals and organizations make it possible for us to offer Income-Based Membership.

Membership Options

All of the memberships at the Y are based on income. Please contact your local branches
Member Services so that we can help you determine the best membership level and rate for you.

Family: Up to two adults and dependent children in the household under age 24.
Couple: One adult and any other person.
Adult: One person age of 27-64 years.
Senior: One person age 65 or older.
Senior Couple: One person age 65 or older and any other person.
Young Adult: One person age 19-27 years old.
Youth: One person through age 18 years old.

Corporate Membership
As a Y corporate partner, your employees are eligible for Y membership with no joiner fee. And, depending on your level of corporate support, your employees can receive annual discounts of 10, 15 or 20 percent off the regular membership fee. Learn more here.

Military Outreach

Your Health Insurance May Pay for Your Membership
Participants of Keystone HMO, Cigna, Pru Care, Blue Cross Personal Choice and other insurance companies may be eligible for partial reimbursement from insurance providers for YMCA memberships or fitness classes. Check with your provider about coverage.
