Rotary LEadership Tower
Kennett Area YMCA
Address: 132 North Walnut Street in Kennett Square.
The Rotary Leadership Tower is a 55' alpine tower designed to challenge you physically and mentally. The three different faces of the tower incorporate obstacles such as a corporate ladder, two hanging logs, a balance beam, two rope ladders and numerous hanging ropes.
Climbing the Rotary Leadership Tower will give individuals an improved sense of confidence, commitment and accomplishment. The Tower is belayed by trained facilitators to ensure the safety of our participants. The Rotary Leadership Tower also includes an Omni-Swing. With an Omni-Swing, the entire group works together to raise an individual up to the height of their choice (up to 30' in the air), and then... hang on tight!

We can host your group!
The Kennett Area YMCA Rotary Leadership Tower in Kennett Square, PA provides the highest quality of adventure programming for individuals and groups of all ages and abilities. We are able to accommodate a variety of requests and have previously worked with: corporate groups, scout troops, schools, sports teams, churches, and a variety of other organizations within Chester County.
We begin working with each group’s manager or team leader to identify the specific needs of their participants. After the team leader defines goals that they would like their group to achieve, we work within them to design their program. Some examples of workshop goals are developing skills in the areas of: teamwork, communication, critical thinking, trust and respect, self-confidence, self-awareness, and leadership through different activities and challenges.
In removing groups from their normal work environments, the participants’ mindsets change allowing them to think creatively without conventional restraints. The goal of a challenge course experience is to provide the participants with an opportunity to gain increased insight and knowledge about themselves and how to handle problems as a part of a group or individual.

We have several options for using both Challenge Courses including half-day and full-day programs. A climb-only program is available for groups or teams looking for a new form of recreation. Customized scheduling options are also available.
