Ages 3 to 5 (Child must be fully potty trained by first day of program.) Program Features Did you know that the Kennett Area YMCA Montessori Preschool is the only Montessori preschool located within a YMCA in the country? Our Monday-Friday morning and Monday-Friday full-day classrooms are each led by a Montessori certified instructor. The program includes weekly instructional swim lessons, yoga, Spanish, and music. We will also incorporate visits by our artist-in-residence and other guests. Montessori is designed to help all children reach their fullest potential at their own unique pace. Learning in a Montessori classroom is an exciting process of discovery, leading to concentration, motivation, self-discipline and a love of learning.
