Q: Who is eligible for YMCA Financial Assistance?
A: Individuals and families can qualify for financial
assistance based on their annual income.
Q: Can I receive financial assistance for memberships and programs?
A: Yes. Financial assistance is available for YMCA membership, and also for all YMCA programs including childcare, summer camp, youth sports, older adult fitness and more!
Q: How do I apply for financial assistance?
A: Applying for financial assistance is easy. Just fill out the form available at your YMCA's Member Services Desk, and return it with a copy of your tax return from the previous year, along with three recent pay stubs and proof of any other income you may receive (child support, DPW, Social Security).
Q: How long does it take to receive an answer about my application?
A: You will be notified about your financial assistance award two to four weeks after we receive your application.
Q: How long can I receive financial assistance?
A: Membership financial assistance is awarded for one year and then must be renewed by the recipient. Program financial assistance is awarded for specific program sessions.
