This introductory Spanish course will equip students with the
language survival skills to communicate in our multi-cultural
community, while laying the foundation for long-term study of the
language. Materials provided. Minimum enrollment of 5 students

Internet Security: Buying and Selling a Home (2-part class)

This class will cover various online issues affecting the security and privacy of your family and your information. The internet offers a great resource to purchase goods, locate information, and share information. However, this increase in connectivity to others has a price in terms of lack of privacy, new threats to children, and our confidential information. Some of the topics that will be discussed are: protecting your computer from bad things and bad people, protecting your kids online, protecting your privacy, making sure your files are safe when things go wrong, indentity theft, and online shopping safety tips. Free to the community.

Preparation for Childbirth

Expectant parents learn about labor & delivery, comfort techniques, breathing, relaxation exercies, and more. Participants should be approximately 30 weeks pregnant.
Fee: $75 per couple

Basics of BreastFeeding
7:00-9:00 pm
Two-hour class led by Nursing Mothers, Inc. addressing advantages of breastfeeding including how to get startes, pumping and storing breast milk, and special topics such as weaning.
Fee: Free to Preparation of Childbirth participants, $20 for all others.

5:00-9:00 pm for kids ages 3 months to 12 years
Plan a date night and let the YMCA staff entertain and care for your children. Children will play games, do crafts, and watch a movie. Parents are asked to send a dinner and snacks with the children. Please register by Wednesday prior to the event.

FREE Community Workouts
Join the Twin Valley YMCA for new community workouts happening the third Wednesday of every month. Come out and use the gym, free weight room, and any classes going onsite for the entire day!

Each week the goal will be to do some kind of physical activity at least three times a week. Each person who completes the task will have their names placed in a drawing for a chance to win fabulous prize at the end of the month.
