YMCA Summer Camp

Provides a fun, loving and safe camp experience that encourages all campers to participate and develop creativity, independence and teamwork. We want children to enjoy the world around them, discover and cultivate new skills, develop healthy lifestyles, and create meaningful relationships. It’s our hope that all of our campers will build the foundation for becoming caring, honest, respectful and responsible teens and adults.

Character Development
All YMCA camp programs emphasize four key character development values: caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Counselors encourage campers to practice and develop these values during all camp activities.

The YMCA is the heart of our community

YMCA of the Brandywine Valley is an Association of 6 regional branches that offer services for children, families and adults throughout Chester County.

People come to the YMCA for the support they need to make a difference in their lives. For many adults and older adults, Y membership opens the doors to discovering energy they never thought they had; for working families, it’s a safe and caring childcare classroom; for middle school teens, it’s a motivating after-school mentoring program.

The YMCA is a catalyst for improved quality of life for people of all ages, races and economic situations. That’s why one out of every 10 people living in Chester County chooses to be members of the YMCA of the Brandywine Valley Association.
