active, healthy lifestyle – including preschool-age children, youth and young adults. Use this page as a guide to find out what fun programs and events your little one can take advantage of at the YMCA!

If I am 6 weeks through 7 years-old, I can…
• be supervised by Y staff in babysitting
• swim with mom, dad or an adult guardian
• play in the gym with mom or dad during scheduled gym “Family Time”
• enroll in the free parent/infant intro to swim class
• have a blast on Family Sundays in the moon bounce
• hang out at the Y on Parents Night Out each month
• enroll in swim lessons; do gymnastics, dance, tennis or martial arts; enjoy arts & crafts or music instruction; play basketball, soccer or baseball on a team, and so much more. See a current program guide for program options and pricing.
• have my birthday party at the Y |
If I am 8 through 11 years old, I can…
• be supervised by Y staff in babysitting
• swim in the pool with a parent or guardian on deck
• walk on the track with mom or dad
• participate in “Family-Friendly” group exercise classes with a parent
• play in the gym with a parent during scheduled gym “Family Time”
• hang out at the Y on Parents Night Out each month
• enroll in swim lessons or be on the swim team; do gymnastics, dance, tennis or martial arts; play on a sports team, and so much more. See a current program guide for program options and pricing.

If I am 12 or 13 years-old, I can…
• be at the YMCA without a parent or guardian
• hang out in the Y-Zone or Teen Center
• walk on the track
• participate in any group exercise class as long as
a parent attends with me
• play in the gym
• work out in the fitness center with a parent
• go swimming
• enroll in swim lessons, or be on the swim team; do gymnastics; play on a sports team such as basketball; participate in sports-specific training; have fun at

• be at the YMCA without a parent or guardian
• hang out in the Y-Zone or Teen Center
• walk or jog on the track
• participate in any group exercise class
• play in the gym
• work out in the fitness center without a parent

participate in sports-specific training or personal
training; have fun at Middle School Night; join
