Octorara YMCA Preschool Childcare
THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY TOWARD LIFE-LONG LEARNING! Our certified teachers and nurturing staff help to set our standards high and give our preschool programs a structured academic base. This program prepares children for kindergarten. Please stop by or contact the YMCA for a Preschool brochure.

Preschool Classrooms - 5-day full or partial days are available Monday thru Friday for ages 2- Pre-K

2-Year-Old Class
9:00 - 11:30 am
A two-day a week class that focuses on academic, emotional, and social skills. (age 2 by 9/1). Call for class-day options.

3-Year-Old Class
9:00 - 11:30 am
A two-day or three-day a week class that focuses on academic, emotional, and social skills. (age 3 by 9/1). Call for class-day options.

Strengthening 4-Year-Old Class
9:00 - 11:30 am
A three-day a week class that focuses on academic, emotional, and social skills. (age 4 by 9/1).

Building Pre-K Class (4 & 5 Year Olds)
9:00 - 11:30 am or 12:30- 3:00 pm
A five-week class geared towards kindergarten readiness with an introduction to the joys of reading.

Lunch Bunch
11:30 am -1:00 pm
Participants must provide lunch.

We offer Extended Care Before and After Preschool
7:00-9:00 am and 11:30 am-6:00 pm
